Today was a great day :-)
I mounted the Victron inverter/charger. Man, that thing is HEAVY! I got the dimensions all mapped out on the settee wall, did a test fit, figured out where the plate needed to be, and with a little help from Bean at the end (because I couldn't hold it and mark/install screws) we got it done! I will have to modify it because where the last two screws went they come through the wall - D'oh! So, I'll have to take it down and try to find two smaller screws and then re-mount it.
Aside from that, I worked on my electrical diagram, and sent it to my helper friend for confirmation - I think I am getting the general idea, a couple more loose ends to wrap up in my head before I get too far, but definitely making progress on putting this whole system together.
After that, I took a much needed break, had some lunch, and relaxed for a bit. Then to wrap up the day, I replaced the complicated Tee we had built for the kitchen sink with the simple one (they finally came in the mail yesterday!).
Then Bean and I sat down for our nightly binge of Hell's Kitchen, had a couple drinks, and enjoyed the rest of our evening. Both of us are very excited to get home tomorrow and see Michael. A few things to do around the boat in the morning first (clean the bilge, make sure everything is out of the cockpit, get stuff out of the car that stays on the boat, and put stuff in the car that goes into storage - you get the idea).
So, off to bed and then off to Corpus for a couple days!
