It was an absolutely wonderful week with some long time friends in a beautiful house in a more beautiful place. We were right on the water, so we could sit on the balcony and sip coffee, and then go downstairs to the beach.

We swam, we snorkeled, we looked for shells. One of our friends, Pam, absolutely loves shelling - so as we, Annmarie and I, took walks, we looked for shells, as we lounged in the surf and the sun, we would look for shells.

Kevin also let me borrow his snorkel mask, so I was able to see some neat fish, and also helped dive for sand dollars. It was an amazing, beautiful time, and I am very thankful to have such great friends.
Tomorrow is back to work though! Bean tells me she and Michael have some surprises for me. I am very much looking forward to seeing them, and seeing the surprises, and getting back to our boat :-)
I have some admin stuff to take care of first on Monday, but then I am hoping to go buy the wood for my battery shelf and start tackling that project. The rest of the week I plan to keep going on installing the electrical components - the new switches, maybe the main breaker in the lazarette - and to follow up with Stix N' Rigging on the mast. I haven't heard from them yet, so I don't believe they have started. I will call Brian on Monday and see where we stand and what the current time estimate is.
With an luck, we'll have a mast mid-June and can take a fun weekend at anchor somewhere for our anniversary at the end of June!
Now, it is time for me to make my way closer to the gate, read a little bit, and then board my plane.
