Girls pulling a two-fer

Today we hesitated a bit in the morning - the forecast was iffy on whether it was going to rain and ruin any work that we did, so we waited until about 8 before getting started. Since we had already prepped the front part of the starboard side, all we had to do was wipe it down and paint it. We had a couple snafus, but managed to get it done by about 10/10:30 ish, and then just relaxed a little. I am definitely still getting used to these mornings! Ugh...

After a pretty chill day, I felt like I needed to accomplish a bit more to feel good about our progress, so I started looking at the electrical items and where to mount stuff - I think I figured out where the main breaker can go in the lazarette, I just need to remove the wood that used to hold the waste tank in place, and then I can access it from the bathroom to connect the box to the wall - so I am excited about that.

Then Bean was absolutely awesome and suggested we do another section of the deck! WooHoo! So, off we went, and did another four partitions. We made some changes after reviewing what we did on the port side, so now we have a little touch up to do once we turn the boat back around, but we like it much better. Now, we only have two more small partitions left on the starboard side, and then a couple random spots - the back cockpit coaming, and the companionway cover on the deck - to wrap up this side. We are hoping to maybe tackle all of it tomorrow - starting with the starboard side wrap up first thing in the morning.

We celebrated with a nice drink, some Hell's Kitchen, and felt very proud of ourselves :-)

Now I am off to bed - much earlier - and hoping to wake up energized!
