Today was very successful for non-boat related reasons, but removing a lot of overhead and stress. We found an apartment, in our budget, in our time frame and are working on securing it. We had started to think finding an apartment around here was impossible! We also started the process for a uhaul, gave the dates and what I am looking for, waiting for a callback on that one, and then we picked up some groceries and had lunch :-)
During and after lunch I did all the usual application stuff for the new apartment, and also lined up and reserved a storage unit not too far from here. Our lives in Corpus Christi officially have a shelf life! We will be out by the end of March and living in the Hitchcock/Galveston area - partially on a boat, and partially in an apartment.
After all the morning's excitement, Bean and I decided to take it easy this afternoon - she is still a little off from the antibiotics, and I either have allergies or a nice spring cold, so we'll take it easy today - maybe do something small this afternoon, and hit it hard again tomorrow.
